Flight Details: What to Expect
The inaugural service will kick off on March 20, 2025, and tickets are already available for purchase. Each flight will feature just 174 seats, with one-way fares starting at an attractive IDR 1,799,999, along with a generous 15 kg baggage allowance!
Initially, the Denpasar-Perth route will operate three times a week, on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Given the typical surge in travel demand, a fourth flight will be added every Tuesday starting April 12, 2024.
The Denpasar-Perth flight will leave I Gusti Ngurah Rai at 9:10 AM WITA, arriving in Perth at 12:50 PM local time. The return journey departs Perth at 1:35 PM, landing back in beautiful Bali at 5:20 PM WITA.
More Travel Opportunities to Bali
TransNusa’s new route isn’t the only addition at I Gusti Ngurah Rai this year. AirAsia Indonesia has also announced a fresh route connecting Darwin to Bali, starting March 2025. With 1,000 seats available weekly, this route is poised to meet the strong demand for travel between Darwin and Bali, with fares beginning at just AUD 189.
This new service will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, making it easier than ever for travelers to enjoy Bali’s diverse attractions.
In a statement, Veranita Josephine, CEO of Indonesia AirAsia, highlighted Bali’s growing importance, saying, “Bali is now our largest hub in terms of flight capacity, driven by strong demand. These direct flights will cater to the enduring popularity of Bali as a destination for Australians and offer great low-fare connections to over 130 destinations across the AirAsia Group network.”
Sandra de Kock, Executive General Manager of the Airport Development Group, echoed this sentiment, stating, “Territorians have been calling for more options to fly to Bali, and we’re excited to deliver with the return of AirAsia. Bali has long been the number one holiday destination for Darwin residents, and these flights will undoubtedly see a surge of travelers embarking on their Indonesian adventures.”
